Abstract

The author reviews a personal series of patients 10 years after sclerotherapy. Of 102 questionnaires sent, 42 answers were ’usable’. These showed that 50% of the patients were ‘satisfied’. A further 79 patients were re-examined 10 years after the initial sclerotherapy: 15 had had no further injections, 31 had further injections once and 15 had required 2 or more series of injections.
