Abstract

Changes in venous system of low extremity are common causes of limb oedema. There can be: obstruction of deep veins, valvular insufficiency, or combination of pathologies mentioned above. The management of chronic venous insufficiency (surgery, phlebotropic agents, compression stockings) depends on kind of pathology in venous system of the extremity [2, 3].
