Numerical Discussion of Quantitative End-to-End Arguments

Chapters  7 and  8 have analytically studied three reliable end-to-end transmission approaches and their hybrids by formulating some quantities for performance gain and implementation complexity. These formulas can be used jointly to make a quantitative comparison among these approaches in terms of the cost-effectiveness of a function displacement. Therefore, this chapter further provides some numerical examples for the comparison.
