Abstract
Hyponatraemia is the commonest electrolyte abnormality in hospitalised patients and is associated with increased mortality and inpatient stay. Evaluation and management of patients with hyponatraemia can be challenging as patients with hyponatraemia may be hypovolaemic, euvolaemic and even hypervolaemic.
