Abstract
To overcome the problem of partial shades or the mismatching of photovoltaic (PV) arrays in PV generation system, a method of diode-clamp multilevel inverter to connecting PV array is proposed, and a new pulse-width modulation strategy is adopted, voltage of every PV array can be controlled independently, the maximize system power can be got, the rated voltage of equipment can be reduced, the output voltage distortion can be cut down, so the efficiency of the whole system is improved. Simulation results verify that the feasibility and validity of control strategy.
