Design of Short Message Query System for Time Service Data Based on GSM

Abstract

The present methods of time service data broadcasting by means of communication satellites or network have the limitations of large amount of data and complex query. To meet users’ requirement of querying small part of the information simply and efficiently, it made full use of GSM network SMS (Short Message Service) and terminal function of GSM module and PC, designed a query system of short message for time service data based on GSM and realized auto-reply to cell phone user’s query message for time service data. The system applies the remote-query technology to time service data broadcasting, therefore it extends customary broadcasting mode. The principle and structure of the system is represented in the paper, which demonstrates each modules of the software and analyzes the effect of the system implementation.
