Abstract

The main purpose of producing drawings with AutoCAD is to communicate graphical information. Even at this late stage in the twentieth century, the primary medium for such communication is with pictures on paper. Paper drawings are very user friendly in that they are easy to read and transport and also provide a useful framework for rough work and checking. With this in mind the current chapter is devoted to methods of translating the digital information in the AutoCAD drawing into black marks on paper.
