Finite Elements Integration of the Bulk-Flow Equations

Abstract

In this paper a method to calculate dynamic coefficients for plain fluid film seals is shown. Bulk-flow equations, used as a mathematical model of the turbulent flow regime which takes place in the seal, are integrated by means of a finite element procedure.
