Abstract

Lestini discussed the pathogenesis of both spondylotic radiculopathy and myelopathy. The two syndromes are distinct, yet they may overlap. The morbid anatomy, symptoms and nerve-root patterns are related. The importance of narrowing of both the foramina and the AP diameter of the cervical canal is stressed.
