Abstract

Osteoma is the commonest tumour to arise in the paranasal sinuses, and is said to occur in 1% of individuals (Mehta and Grewal 1963). It is seen more frequently in the frontal sinus, and less so in the ethmoids; it is rare in the sphenoid sinus and antrum.
