Abstract

This paper presents a multiple access scheme based on Dynamic TDMA (D- TDMA), suitable for an ATM Wireless LAN (ATM WLAN). It exploits the Quality of Service (QoS) parameters and traffic contracts of connections to allocate system capacity, and prevent bandwidth violations by terminals that exceed their agreed traffic limits.
