Huntington’s Chorea

Abstract

The diagnosis of Huntington’s chorea depends on establishing a positive family history for the disorder and on a detailed clinical assessment. Whilst the cardinal clinical features are chorea and dementia, some patients may present with a wide range of other signs and symptoms. This broad spectrum of clinical manifestations may be confusing and result in misdiagnosis.
