Abstract

Gorlin et al. (1963) delineated this condition, using the designation ‘oculodentodigital dysplasia,’ and pointed out that in addition to their patient, five others could be identified in the literature. Subsequently, Reisner et al. (1969) reviewed the features of 43 cases, and a decade later the number of reported patients had risen to more than 66 (Sugar 1978).
