Backstepping and Passivation in the Presence of an Integrator with Throughput

  • D. Fontaine
  • P. Kokotović

1 This paper presents two controllers that globally stabilize a nonlinear system augmented with an integrator and throughput. Neither affine in control nor of triangular structure, the system is not in the class to which backstepping or forwarding designs are applicable.
