Morphologic, immunologic and genetic features of precursor T and B cell neoplasms

  • Chapter

Abstract

In the Rappaport classification lymphoblastic lymphoma was subdivided morphologically into convoluted and non-convoluted cell types [43.1]. In the Lukes-Collins classification, which was a combined morphologic and immunologic classification, it was subdivided into “convoluted”, which was supposed to indicate a T cell origin, and “unclassified”, which was supposed to correlate with a null cell phenotype.
