Abstract

Follicular lymphoma is the commonest category of lymphoma in Western countries. It is referred to in the REAL classification as follicle center lymphoma, because it is composed of cells normally found in germinal centers, that is to say, both centrocytes and centroblasts. Also we require for the diagnosis a growth pattern which is (at least partially) follicular.
