Realization of a Place and Route Flow Using PKS, a New Cadence Design System Tool

  • Conference paper
Microelectronics and Microsystems

Abstract

The aim of the stage was to realize a complete Place and Route flow of a block of the integrated circuit shown in the next page, using PKS (Physical Knowledgeable Synthesis), and compare the results with those obtained with SE (Silicon Ensamble). The block chosen is the MCM, because it has a shape of particular interest due to the presence of corners, which are critical points in terms of routing.
