Abstract

We are now starting to leave those constellations which are the sole domain of the southern hemisphere, and are slowly beginning to visit areas of the sky that can be enjoyed, if not by all amateurs, then most. In addition, we will be looking at not only what some would say are the most spectacular regions of the Milky Way, but also towards the central regions of our own Galaxy (see Star Chart 4).
