Abstract

As we already mentioned in the Introduction, finite algorithms for the exact calculation exist only for some types of integrals. Consequently, we cannot expect MATHCAD to be able to calculate every integral. However, because MATHCAD can perform the often extensive calculations in a matter of seconds, as shown in the following section, it is very useful for those integrals that can be calculated.
