Abstract
The main purpose of producing drawings with AutoCAD is to communicate graphical information. Even as the twentieth century makes way for the twenty first, the primary medium for such communication is with pictures on paper. Paper drawings are very user friendly, they are easy to read and transport and also provide a useful framework for rough work and checking. With this in mind the current chapter is devoted to methods of translating the digital information in the AutoCAD drawing into marks on paper.
