Abstract
The paper reports a rough set approach for modeling concepts encountered in evolutionary information systems for corporate computing. Features like extracting concepts from textual queries and Multimedia are illustrated in the context of open-ended queries. Concept transformation issues with its engineering applications are discussed. Authors suggest concept modeler as a methodology for large-scale production of training and educational material for Web based distance learning programmes incorporating guaranteed minimum accuracy measure for concept introduction and absorption.
