Abstract
An entire chapter of this book is dedicated to capturing and recognizing what is in your telescope. That is because being confronted with finding your way around the dome of the sky can take the fun out of astronomy very quickly. Being able to point your telescope accurately at the target you are seeking will define your ability to have some joy in your observing: no find, no fun. Seems obvious.
