Abstract
When we start to work on a Flash movie, we begin by creating symbols that are to be included in the production. Instances of these are then placed on the Stage as and when required. To date, we have worked with the Stage as a single bed where all instances reside. This is true in the sense that instances are organized and placed on the Stage, but the Stage itself consists of several layers. A layer is like a transparent sheet, where each layer has its own set of objects.
