Abstract

It is argued that the collapse in the price of information will mirror the collapse in the price of energy that occurred in the first industrial revolution.On this occasion, however, the main threat will be to professionals in general and educators in particular. Some examples, based on direct experience, in the fields of education and training are discussed.
