Inner Classes and Reflection
One of the new features introduced back in version 1.1 of the JDK was inner classes. These are classes defined with the scope of an outer (or top-level) class. These inner classes can be defined within the main body of a class, within a block of statements or (anonymously) within an expression. This chapter introduces inner classes and considers where and when they should be used.
