Abstract

Frames allow you to break down the viewing area of the browser in to a number of regions, each region showing a different Web page. This has a number of advantages, if, for example, you have a header, or a list of links on more than one page, the header and links could be placed in frames and only downloaded once, however many pages are viewed on the site. It is also easier to update the header and links pages since the same documents are viewed on every page.
