Abstract

For this project I made my own specialized sky atlas using MegaStar5, a superb astronomical program (see Appendix A). The objects that I selected for observation and plotted on the atlas are described here. It can be seen that my goal was more to cover the better – i.e., relatively bright and easy – objects, of which there are plenty, than to seek out observational challenges, which are practically infinite in number.
