Effects of decoherence on entangled atomic wave functions in microcavities

Abstract

We show that the effects of cavity dissipation and atomic decay on entangled atomic wave functions can be monitored and tested in a real micromaser. A curious example of multiparticle enhancement of nonlocality is observed.
