Protocol for MRI Monitoring of Orthotopic Glioma Growth in the Rat Brain

Abstract

The following protocol has been developed for monitoring tumor volumes and tumor morphology of C6 gliomas, which have been implanted as spheroids subcortically into the brains of male Sprague-Dawley rats weighting 300–350 g (Fig. 1).
