Abstract

This chapter studies on various aspects of averaged modeling of DC-DC Boost converters operating in the continuous conduction mode (CCM). The switch average model, the time average of circuit model, and the mind of energy conservation law are used. The parasitic effects of circuit elements are included based on the state-space averaging. The transient response and the open loop transfer functions of the proposed model are simulated in Simulink. The numerical analyses and experimental measurements confirm that the new models are more accurate than the previous models.
