Remove Spikes and Noise in Load Spectrum with Wavelet Transform

A new method to remove the spike and noise in the load spectrum signal was suggested based on the theory of wavelet transform. Load spectrum signal was analyzed by the wavelet method, then the signal was recreated after the removal of spike- and noise-related signal. The method was used to process the load spectrum from the absorber seat of the vehicle. The results show this method is effective in removing the spike and noise in the load spectrum.
