Abstract

The work presented in this book consists of a series of thoughts that so far has culminated in what we call Activity-Based Cost and Environmental Management (ABCEM). Understanding these thoughts and ideas is crucial, but often difficult for the first-time reader. In this chapter we will therefore look back upon the cornerstones of our work, its benefits, its future, and the things that ABCEM cannot accomplish.
