Abstract
Social media tools are vital to the lives of teenagers today. According to the 2010 study by Kaiser Family Foundation, American teenagers, aged 8–18, spend an average of 7.5 hours a day, 7 days a week using these tools (Rideout, Foehr, & Roberts, 2010). It is against this backdrop of our teenagers’ avid media fascination that parents, educators, and the general public have been trying to understand and determine the best way to utilize these tools to engage students in education.
