Abstract

Getting and recording images of spectra is what it’s all about. The easiest way to start is to use your prism or transmission grating in front of the camera lens or telescope objective. This objective prism/grating setup can allow you to record the stellar absorption and emission lines at low resolution. You’ll need a tracking platform or equatorial mounting properly polar aligned
