Photographing the Planets

Part of the Patrick Moore's Practical Astronomy Series book series (PATRICKMOORE)


Of course we can’t record images similar to Fig. 10.1 of Saturn with our family camera. It was taken by NASA from the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft when it was around 70 million kilometer away from the planet on February 9, 2004. The details of the ring systems are remarkable.
