Abstract

An 11-year-old boy with achondroplasia presents for an Ilizarov leg lengthening procedure. His admission vital signs are: HR = 92 bpm, BP = 110/80 mmHg, RR = 16/min, Hct = 34%. There is no prior history of surgery.
