Abstract
A 45-year-old female (70 kg and 5 ft 11 in.) is admitted as an outpatient for laparoscopy for endometriosis under general anesthesia. You see her in the preoperative area with her husband. She tells you she has not had any previous operations and is very healthy. She denies any allergies. Reading the outpatient note, you see that she has had a chin implant. When you ask her again she says that is a mistake.
