Abstract
Contextual therapy can offer a very useful framework to address the issue of forgiveness, reconciliation, and peace-building that complements the framework proposed by individual psychology in general, developmental psychology, trauma psychology, or even peace psychology. Contextual therapists propose that some of the important determinants of our behavior are located outside of our psyche. They believe that one of the most important determinants of our actions lies in our expectation of fairness and reciprocity in relationships.
