Abstract
In this chapter, we will take a close look at Android's Broadcast Receiver classes. This class is used specifically for communications between Android components, each of which will be in the form of a subclass of the primary Android class (Activity, Service, BroadcastReceiver, etc.) as we have seen in our Java coding experiences within this book.
