Abstract

In this chapter we’ll go over what we mean by sprites and tie them into the related building blocks that you have already learnt about in the last two chapters. Then we’ll look at basic sprite functionality and how to create it, before deconstructing an entire game so that you will know enough about sprites to go away and start making your own games.
