Abstract

The RCX only has three outputs, and this can become a serious limitation when designing a robot. In our examples so far, two motors have been used just for movement, leaving only a single output free for other functions. What if those other functions need two independent motors? Onebot is a variation of Tribot that uses a single motor to move around. Although Onebot itself is only a simple bumper car, its design can serve as the basis for more complicated robots.
