Storing and sourcing data

  • Chapter
Flash .NET

Abstract

So far, we’ve managed to set up some lines of communication between our Flash movies and server-side scripts. We’ve seen how to make the server process information we send to it, whether that’s in the form of flat or structured data, and send back the results as query strings, XML, or even JPEG images. In this chapter, we’re going to start looking at what happens when we tell ASP.NET to go get some information from elsewhere.
