Abstract

If you look at recent events, you will see that hackers have violated many systems worldwide and have caused major damage and downtime. Security is of importance to everyone, especially people in the technology industry. We want to do everything possible to secure our systems and data from access by unauthorized persons. This includes both malicious and accidental unauthorized access. Security is not only used to prevent unauthorized access to our database — it is also used to prevent the accidental destruction of data. How many times have you been cleaning up your hard drive and accidentally deleted a file that you wanted to keep?
