Abstract

I remember as a small child of about 9 or 10 years old. Sitting and drawing a neighbor’s car and being asked by that neighbor what l’a like to be when I grew up. I replied, “An artist” Even at that age. I had an idea was: it was someone who painted in a smock and a beret, hung nice oil paintings in a gallery. My time since then has been filled with experimentation — not only with different media and materials. but also with ideas and influences. ranging from classical artists like Michelangelo, to contemporary artists like Dave McKean.
