Abstract

Like many of the other artists an® esigners who’ve contributed to this book, Photoshop has always been my application of choice. Actually, now that I think about it, I didn’t choose Photoshop; rather, it chose me. When I started out in this field, Photoshop was the only image editing application around, and while it was difficult for me to grasp at times, I used it again and again, on one project after another, until eventually it became second nature. In this chapter, I’m going to talk a little about how I work, tell you about some of the people I look to for inspiration, and take you through some of the techniques that I use when I’m putting an image together.
