Abstract

To find true inspiration for myself, I cannot be looking for it. In art school, I looked for it time and again, only to find myself repeating what past artists and designers had done, leading to endless repetition. This ‘process of creativeness’ drove me insane, but it got me a job, which was a start. To me, though, it wasn’t enough, because being in design isn’t just about a paycheck — it’s what makes me look forward to getting up in the morning. I love the feeling of knowing that every day, I’m going to learn something new that will advance me as a designer. Where do the ideas come from that I look forward so much to developing? They come from me and my life, nothing more and nothing less.
