Abstract

In this chapter we’ll focus on layers. Layers allow you to create and edit your images. They allow you to change the colors and tone of an image and change the arrangement of the image without altering or permanently changing the placement They help you manage and compose your design. You have the option to hide images before permanently deleting them. You can copy a layer multiple times which helps you save the original image while experimenting with the copies. By changing the opacity of an image you can create the digital equivalent of a lightbox.
