Abstract

Photoshop and Illustrator have been engineered to allow a strong degree of cross-application integration, however, to get the best out of the two applications working together we need to set them up properly and select the most appropriate settings and preferences. In this chapter we will examine these preferences for both applications, choosing a common color management scheme across the applications. Also, we will consider how we can, within reason, anticipate the final appearance of our product — be that for print or web media.
