  • Tony Smith

Thus far the various resources available in SharePoint to store and manage information have been discussed. You have seen how to manage media (such as standard documents, videos, and images), structured data (such as contact lists, tasks, and events), and web content (such as web pages). This chapter discusses how process can be introduced into the environment to enhance information, allowing it to be incorporated into associated business processes and to help automate information management. Also discussed is how information management policies can be introduced to control content as it matures and to audit changes to information.
