Creating and Using Custom Controls

Abstract

When building screens in LightSwitch, you can present your data by using built-in controls. These controls include labels, text boxes, autocomplete boxes, and data grids. When writing moresophisticated applications, you might want to allow users to view and enter data by using nonstandard controls. For example, you might want to allow users to enter numbers by using a slider control or to display data by using charts or graphs.
